Thanks to the encouragement of being part of an international network, the musicians of the orchestra are doing a step ahead and, inspired in the bases of a fair socio-economy, they formed a cooperative for building instruments and studying the Afro-Brazilian culture. This was a dream of master Lumumba.
During June and July the group continued to play for training in the School of Sociology and Politics in Sao Paulo, besides promoting meetings with specialists in cooperatives. The Orchestra has been playing also in the Cultural Center São Paulo and in the II Regional Meeting of Cultural Policies in the city of Rio Claro.
